PAI features:

PAI is one kind of new acyl engineering plastic. As the molecules of PAI, has a rather steady heterocyclic structure inside, which has the excellent performances of intrinsic high and low temperature resistance that other macromolecule materials can’t compare with, and has excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability resistance. Especially: high temperature resistance,high strength,high insulation,anti-radiation,chemical corrosion-resistance,self-lubrication and extremely low thermal expansion.

Main Characteristics of PAI

•very high max. allowable working temperature in air (250°C continuously)

•extremely low coefficient of linear thermal expansion up to 250°C

•excellent retention of mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance over a wide range of temperatures.

•excellent wear and frictional behavior (particularly TORLON® 4301PAI)

•exceptional resistance against high energy radiation (γ radial and Χ radial).

•inherent low flammability
