Different plastic products use different processing techniques. Commonly used processes include: blister, injection, blow molding, extrusion, and so on.
1. Blistering: Vacuum forming is called plastic suction, which is a plastic product processing technology. The main principle is to heat flattened hard plastic sheets and soften them, then use vacuum adsorption on the surface of the mold, and then cool down to form. It is mainly divided into two types: thick sheet plastic sheet and plastic sheet. Widely used in automotive accessories, lighting, advertising, decoration, large mechanical enclosures, display, space, household appliances, bathroom and other industries.
2. Injection: thermoplastic injection molding, this method is to melt the plastic material, and then inject it into the film cavity. Once the molten plastic enters the mold, it is cold-formed into a specific shape like a mold cavity. Common products are: computer case shell, connector, mobile phone shell, keyboard, mouse, audio, etc.
3. Blow molding: also known as hollow blow molding, a rapidly developing method for processing plastic products. The tubular plastic parison obtained by extrusion or injection molding of a thermoplastic resin is placed in a split mold while it is hot (or heated to a softened state). After the mold is closed, compressed air is passed into the parison to blow the plastic parison. It swells and closely adheres to the inner wall of the mold. After cooling and demolding, various hollow products are obtained. Commonly used in daily life are bottles, barrels, cans, boxes, and all plastic products used in packaging food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and daily necessities.
4. Extrusion: Extrusion is also called extrusion in plastic processing, and also called extrusion in rubber processing. It refers to a processing method in which materials pass through the action between the barrel of the extruder and the screw and are plasticized by heat, pushed forward by the screw, and continuously passed through the head to make various cross-section products or semi-products.
